The Saga of my A-frame tenthouse...

The Saga of my A-frame tenthouse...
I put up an A-frame plastic covered tenthouse to start earlier crops and start lettuces and harden off transplants. The original had a few problems, like opening and closing it and cold air getting in. I planted a few squares on March 20th including radishes, All lettuce mix, chives, scallions, carrots and spinach. We've had some terribly cold nites like down to 14 and 17 degrees for a couple of them. I dropped thick towels over the rows inside the A-frame those nites.
Today I removed the tacks and wooden rollers and used binder clips (from the office supply store) to hold the vinyl plastic in place and also to hold the plastic when I fold it up to work inside. It works perfectly.
You can go to my blogspot to check out the latest pictures I took today.
In the meantime, my radishes are coming up out there....

And here's one picture of the A-frame closed up snugly. I have row cover over my two rows of squares and trays in the other half ready for later transplants.
