Hi Folks you can call me Ages! Planning my 1st Square Foot Garden Icon_biggrin I'm new to square foot gardening and am really looking forward to getting started. I'm reading Mel's latest book and am chomping at the bit to build my boxes. Most folks here in El Paso, TX have already started planting so I'm going to be just a little behind them. I am looking forward to building the boxes next week with the help of my wife, son and daughter (getting the whole family involved in this Planning my 1st Square Foot Garden 53366 ). And I've already started tracking down the mix. Boy that Vermiculite is hard to find in bulk. I've also been poking my nose around the forums and getting a feel for the site. Looks like this is quite a friendly place that has a lot of good people willing to help each other out. Planning my 1st Square Foot Garden Icon_biggrin I'll put up some pics as we go along. Nice to be here!

Nice to have you! You sound like you will fit in with this exuberant group! Be sure to check in on your regional page. It is always good to know who are neighbors are when trying to figure out what is up with our garden!

Welcome Ages,
Its nice to see more gardeners joining the group. I was new to it last year and I think you'll find you'll learn a lot and enjoy the experience.
