Can't sleep b/c of my ant bites...up looking for a better remedy to use.
I must admit...I'm about to become a ant bully.

Re: I'm officially a ant bully
Had not put that label on myself but according to my wife it must be so. One day I was filling the lawn mower when she came flying out side and got in my face. She promised to kick my xxx if I so much as harmed any of her little ant friends while mowing the grass. It’s not totally unusual for her to act that way but I needed to defend my intentions. I told her to go back inside and get her bugle out and round up all the ants then march them over to the neighbors yard and sit there with them until I was done mowing. It would then be safe to march them back to our yard. I sometimes find it hard to handle her but then she never knows how to handle me. Guess I am an ant bully but at least I am a compassionate one, lol. And that is how a war is done.

Re: I'm officially a ant bully
April,
I grew up in GA with fire ants and they are horrible!! I stepped in a bed of them while trying to rescue a baby goat who had his head stuck in a fence, and suddenly realized where I was stepping! I ended up with 48 bites from feet to boobs!! My mom had me make a paste of meat tenderizer and alcohol. It actually helped take the stinging away. Not sure how it works, but I'm glad it did.
