My Hubby is not a gardener but luckily he humors me by letting me teach him (good thing since i'm becoming certified) So Yesterday we are in my Garden and he's wanting to sucker my tom's Of course he's looking at my biggest plant that's like 4-5 feet tall and I told him how to do it and then I said (after he took the little suckers off) "you should probably leave the little ones just in case of a storm and your plant breaks."

Well a nice little red cell came though our area last night. I went out this morning to check on everything and about 18" of my big plant was bent over Sad (luckily it's not broken off) so I tied it up and am gonna put a splint on it as soon as I have a second pair of hands to help me. uugghh!!! Live and learn huh!! Smile

Thankfully you did have supports on your tomato plants or the damage could have been worse.

Good luck on splinting. It has been helpful to me in the past.
