My cucumbers look like my squash!!!!

I planted my square foot garden on April 1st and it has done pretty well....The only thing I am wondering about is that my vegetables seem to all kindof look alike. The cucumbers are very pale and some of them look more like my butternut squash than a cucumber. They taste like a cucumber just look a little odd... The butternut squash are not getting as large as they should, but again taste great. My cantaloupe are round but smooth instead of rough on the outside. They're not ready to harvest so haven't tasted them yet but if they are like the others they'll taste fine just look strange...Any thoughts????
