Summer veggies are coming out to play.
First zuc.
Yellow squash.
Shots showing how the zucchini and yellow squash have started their quest for garden domination.
Year 2 strawberries are bigger than year 1.
Big Beef Tomato
Better Boy Tomato
First pepper
Sugar Snap Peas are rockin' this year. Needed to install a make-shift trellis extension, which should serve the adjacent cucumber also.
The spinach and lettuce has been spectacular.
Onions and leaks might be a bust this year. Don't think they cared for all the water the region received this spring and early summer.
All-in-all...a great growing season so far here in Pittsburgh. Gotta thank the collective wisdom of this forum in helping make my second year with SFG a great one. What a resource of clever folks. Learned so much from everyone here!
Hope your gardens are treating you well!

Thanks everyone!
Dunkinjean, where are you from in Central Jersey?
We lived in Franklin Park (between New Brunswick and Princeton) before moving to Pittsburgh 7 years ago.
