Hello from Frisco, TX
Wanted to say hi all! Just finished my first raised bed and planted some veggies. Probably learned a few things already. Getting ready to build a second so I can get some beans and other things started... so much to do, so little time to do it... maybe I can post some pics of the 2x12 bed...

Re: Hello from Frisco, TX
ashort, it is so nice to have you here with us.
This seems to be the week for Texans to join our little community. There is now a large group of members from Texas.
Happiness is a Square foot Garden. Since your first bed is finished, I'll bet you can hardly wait to get that second one filled with Mel's Mix and those beans and things planted.
There are lot of people here that can help you if you have questions. If you have the time, go through the various forums and perhaps you will find the answers you need. Please feel free to ask whether you have time to check those out or not.
Glad you are planning on sharing pictures with us, cause we really love them.
Again, Welcome.

Welcome to the forum, Ashort.
It's great that you've already started planting. Be sure and post some photos for everyone still living in Winterville.
If you have questions, don't be afraid to ask. Someone on here usually knows the answer or where to find it.
Keep us posted on how that second bed comes along.

Re: Hello from Frisco, TX
Howdy!
Spring is bustin' out all over Texas, isn't it?! Would you believe down here in the Rio Grande Valley we went from a day with a high of 35 a couple of weeks ago to a day (Monday) with a high of 94?!
We love pics and especially this time of year when other parts of the country are still blanketed in snow it's fun to post and give others the hope of spring. (Now I need to find my camera so I can do that myself.)
Folks on here are very helpful and friendly, so hop right in!
