Yes it is exciting !
Flooding no, the raised foundation is because the ground is so uneven, hurricane winds yes, we are an hour and a half from the gulf coast. The pines bend and sway Smile

Its something to watch I tell you.

Wow, Ha-v-v!

It is taking shape! We have friends in East Texas with a log home and love it. They will be moving closer to Dallas soon (He had a lung transplant here and needs to be closer to Drs.). They are planning on building another log home here.

Because you guys are hands on, this will be fantastic! Be sure you keep pictures as you progress!
