Lots of rain, need more sun!
I'm in Rochester, MN. I have a wonderful garden growing so far. I woke up last nght to some really loud rain. I thought it was hail, so I panicked! My first thought was my garden, how weird is that. We actually had a couple hours of sun this afternoon, first in days so I was excited. I went out and played in the garden for a few minutes. Not much to do there but felt better doing it anyway .
I have 20 different types of plants growning in my garden but it's large, 11x6. I'll try to post some pictures soon. I have stepping stones going through the middle so I can reach everything.
Happy gardening!
Jen

Jen:
Very nice rain the last several days. Even with regular watering some beds were showing signs of stress so the rain was very welcome. Hope you get plenty of Sun in the next couple of weeks so your plants will get a big boost.
God Bless, Ward and Mary.

Hey Jen
I'm your neighbor about 15 minutes west of rochester. Yes, the rain here has been relentless.
It's going to be nice today and then I hear rain for thurs and fri....ugh!
But, despite all the wet, my garden is doing ok...could be worse. I seem to have lots of little grey slugs though.
Well, good luck wiht your garden; post pics when you can.

Re: Lots of rain, need more sun!
Nodding my head in agreement with all of you MN folks. Here in MI, we've had 3.5 inches MORE rain that the average since June 1st and we got another 2.5 inches last night. The Nursery folks tell me there is a lot of problems with plant fungus in our area.
I know one fairly large size organic farm a few miles from here is on their THIRD planting of peas, because the first two were complete wash outs. Bring on the SUN!
