I think I may have created a Frankensquash.  I have a large Golden Zucchini plant and right next to it is a Canada Crookneck Squash (CCS) plant.  The zucchini squash look normal but there are strange things growing on the CCS plant. They have a shape similar to small CCS with a curved neck ending in bulb. However, they have the same color as the Golden Zucchini. Is this possible?

I wouldn't have believed it if you hadn't posted the photos. Shocked I really didn't think a 1st hybrid would combine characteristics. What do the other fruits on that vine look?

The photos show two different fruit. There is a third fruit that looks the same. From what I have learned there can be cross-pollination of heirloom squash but the starnge results would not be seen until the next generation as you indicated. So maybe it was a rogue seed but it sure is strange that the plant is producing fruit which are the same color as the zucchini.
