I seem to recall that in Alaska, there's something like 30 different terms for snow/sleet/hail/whatever.... I think it depends on what it is, how big it is, how hard it is, etc...

Tomorrow is supposed to be 70 degrees and sunny so I'm going to "make hay while the sun shines" and take the day off to finish putting Mel's Mix in the beds and install fencing (which arrived yesterday). Weatherman says it will be cool again next week.

We are getting the northern portion of the nor'easter that is hammering the east coast of the USA and Canada. We got 4 inches of snow yesterday and expect another 4 inches today. Needless to say, all of my gardening will be of the indoor variety today except for maybe taking some Winter Sowing containers outside.

We got snow. more on the way with a 4th Nor'Easter in 3 weeks coming on in Tuesday. Pretty sick of it at this point. Want to get my peas and Brussels Sprouts in the ground soon!

Yes, sanderson, we accomplished much before nightfall when the rains came. We still have a bit to do, but I'll be ready to plant this weekend.
