2017 Burpee seeds are already on display at HD
Boy, have they REEEEEally upped their game on organic seeds. At least at the HD I was at this afternoon. It looked like at least 1/3 were organic.

Wow, I am surprised that they are even out. I thought they would wait until after Christmas.AtlantaMarie wrote:Boy, have they REEEEEally upped their game on organic seeds. At least at the HD I was at this afternoon. It looked like at least 1/3 were organic.

I've heard complaints that some stores are already putting out Valentine's stuff....
Re: 2017 Burpee seeds are already on display at HD
We went to our local Rural King store Sunday, the 14th and was stunned when we saw the seeds out already in the middle of January. Then, we went to Wal-Mart down the road and they had seeds as did Menard's and Lowe's.AtlantaMarie wrote:Boy, have they REEEEEally upped their game on organic seeds. That's the earliest I've ever seen seeds in my area. I'm not complaining about seeing the seeds of course. What I'm complaining about is, I only had about $50.00 in my wallet. Wanna guess how much I spent on seeds?
C'mon... GUESS.

Re: 2017 Burpee seeds are already on display at HD
The Lowe's in State College, PA has seeds out, too! And I grabbed some seed starting mix so I'm ready to start my onions once I order seeds.
They also had some little grow light set-ups that I looked at last year but it didn't have a price on it, again. (And I knocked down part of their precariously stacked display of plant trays putting it back after looking for a price sticker, so I was too embarrassed to ask. ) I just tried looking up grow light on their website, but no luck, not the right search term. "Plant light" brought up some pretty chandeliers. I don't need another grow light (I don't even know where I'd put one), but I'm curious how much they are.

And I'll say "$49.97."
Who gets to "come on down?" Do we get to spin the wheel?

Ok..ok. I forgot to mention, it was a TWO part question. You got the first part correct. Second part of the question is: Today, I only had $14.00 in my wallet. I came home with .32 cents. Guess how much I spent today.sanderson wrote:Uh, $50? Did I win?MrBooker wrote:I'm not complaining about seeing the seeds of course. 1. If a penny fell down the checkout conveyor belt.
2. If you found a penny in the other pocket.
3. Oh, you bought apples today. (Blond joke)
4. Who's Jimmy?

Now I get it. This is the "new math". There is no right or wrong answer. There are no absolutes. Whatever you feel is correct will be an acceptable answer. In fact, if you don't feel like answering then that is OK as well.MrBooker wrote:Please choose one of the following:AtlantaMarie wrote:Hhhhhmmmmmm..... $14.00 - .32........ wait, let me pull up Excel or find a calculator.....
