I got my SEEDING SQUARE!
SEEDING SQUARE
Waiting for the snow to melt (again) to be able to use this. It was part of a crowd funding project I participated in.
I admit it, it's not a necessity, but I do love gizmos. It comes with a wand with a scoop and a funnel that fit in the holes for easier seed planting.

I have seen women looking at jewelry ads with a misty eye and one hand resting on the heart, and I only know what they're feeling because that's how I read the seed catalogs in January - Barbara Kingsolver - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle

Re: I got my SEEDING SQUARE!
I actually think it will be helpful for my 3 & 5 YO grand kids (don't think the 6 week old is quite up to gardening yet).

Kim,
Very interesting and cool gizmo.
Let us know how to use it and how well it works.
Of course we got snow also today 4-5 inches.

Re: I got my SEEDING SQUARE!
What is it made of and is it rigid or flexible and is it exactly 12" square?
How much did it cost and from where did you get it?
That's only five questions. I can't think of any more right now.
Oh, do they come in different colours? As if that would make any difference.

It's a rigid 12" square green (only color) plastic. I don't know exactly what it's made of but it's "RoHS Compliant" - Restriction of Use of Hazardous Substances (Canadian thing?).Kelejan wrote:What is it made of and is it rigid or flexible and is it exactly 12" square?

It's $24.95 and if you follow the link in my first post where it says SEEDING SQUARE it take you directly to their page.

Re: I got my SEEDING SQUARE!
Kim - interesting.... Please let us know how it works out. DH is a gadget-guy... maybe that would get him more interested.
Jarity - you should be able to plant 3 in 2 squares. I'd do them in a triangle - 2 corners and a middle.

Re: I got my SEEDING SQUARE!
Shows many of us don't really take in what we read. Even though you repeated yourself several times. Sorry, Kim, will try and pay attention next time.sfg4uKim wrote:It's a rigid 12" square green (only color) plastic.
