Unidentified Plant
I did not do very well with a fall garden this year. I planted collards twice and never really grew anything. Something ate the cabbage and kale. I did get some lovely cauliflower. Suddenly a couple weeks ago, I realize something is growing alongside my kitchen stairs. I'm not sure what it is. I must have dropped a few seeds?? They are about 6-8 inches tall. My thoughts are it is something in the collards - broccoli- cabbage family.
Sorry it has a sort of odd shadow, I did not see this morning when I snapped it.

Re: Unidentified Plant
It does look like something in the cabbage family, but I have no idea what. Hopefully someone will recognize it. Or, it can be your experiment - take pics periodically and keep us updated as it grows, and hopefully as it matures it will give you your answer!

Re: Unidentified Plant
That would be my first guess as well, VJ.
If it were cabbage or broccoli, I think you'd be seeing heads forming by now.
