Garlic - How much Rabbit Poo on/in garlic bed? Empty How much Rabbit Poo on/in garlic bed?

Somewhere here I read about a person who added a wheelbarrow load of compost to his/her garlic bed,pre-planting.

Having a 4' x 8' bed of soil (yes, yes) that needs amending for garlic, I have already added leaf mold and want to add rabbit manure to the mix.

Any suggestions about how much rabbit "goodie" I can add?

I don't have rabbit poo, but I do add about two 5 gallon buckets of 5 blend to my garlic 4x4 before planting.

Judy, I add to my garlic beds compost by the wheelbarrow, as much as needed to bring the mix level with the top of the box.

My first season, my MM was one inch below the edge of my box, by design.

Second season, I forgot to amend...

So, in preparation for this winter, I've dumped 3 cubic feet of compost per 4x4 box, which got it back to within an inch of the edge. Smile

Should have hot composted the rabbit poo that I got.  Baby weed plants have sprouted wherever I put a couple of trowelsful of the straight manure.

These weeds all seem to be gill-over-the-ground (creeping jenny?) and will fit right into the rest of my yard - which is full of this plant.

We call it Creeping Charlie in my neck of the woods. The wild bees and sometimes the honey bees like it.
