is there such a thing as a balance liquid fertilizer? If so , how high is the ratio of NPK. I know it will have trace elements.

It should say on the label. At this point of the season, go low on N or 5-5-5, 5-10-10.

try Espoma products. Tomato tone is what I use sometimes, but it's not liquid.

I looked, but didn't see any balanced liquid organic fertilizer. had great products. I was just wondering if any company had any success with getting the ratio up to 10-10-10 or 13-13-13 or 2-10-10, etccc in liquid form. with all the break thru we're seeing, I was just wondering. I seeing it in the solid form somewhat, but can't seem to find it in liquid, only synthetic .

Do you need to fertilize? What are you seeing in your SFG that makes you think so? The Espoma products are organic, is that not satisfactory? Why do you think 10-10-10 is better? You probably do not need that much in a SFG with good compost. Can you please post photos?

Hi , the thing about plants is that most have their own specific ideal nutritional balance needs of N ,P & K . there is, "No one size fits all plants " , solution .

This ideal requirements /need changes as the plant develops and starts to produce bigger roots or above ground growth /fruits, so in that respect there is no single ideal balance nutritional feed for all plants

This is where MM come to the fore as it is one of the best growth mediums you can ever get ,as it is organic matter slowly decaying.
It will continue to produce various nutrients & release trace elements over the years at all manner of rates depending what it was made of.
As we practice the one out, add compost and then a new plant/seed in Mel's way, there will be a continuous replenishment , the quality of the growth medium will continue to " build " over the years if you make your compost effectively .

The only time most folk will need some supplementary feeding  for their beds  is during the first two years till they get the hang of making their own compost correctly .
One of the better additions called fish,  blood & bone meal ( consists of fish meal , dried blood and bone meal )  gives the shot gun approach ..... if you shoot enough at the plants  some will hit .

Occasionally some plants are very greedy feeders of the natural stuff in the bed , tomatoes is the main one that comes to mind .. they do benefit from a plant specific feed that is given in varying strengths ( as a liquid feed diluted with water )  at different times of the plants development and fruiting life .
If you use this tomato liquid feed on some other plants  you may get loads of greenery and not much increase in crop size or quality  .

When we talk of making , " Compost teas " , they tend to be high in nitrogen and phosphorous and of course depending what you use as the base material depends on the finished tea's  final chemical analysis .
