new seedlings peeking out from the mulch
We transplanted tomatoes and planted some seeds about 5 days ago, and lo and behold, this morning when I went to water where the seeds were planted, a few green leaves sprouting up out of the mulch! I was afraid nothing would come up because my cat keeps hanging out in the garden. Hopefully more will start making their way up as well.

Re: new seedlings peeking out from the mulch
Baby bok choy, arugula, some lettuces and some collards (I think, or another lettuce). I haven't planted the radishes yet. These are all greens of some kind or another.
I wasn't sure if it was too late to plant greens here. I know a lot of people grow them in the winter because it's so mild, generally speaking. But, I thought I would try anyway, because I eat a lot of salad and I love greens.
