Hi everyone~
I am so excited to have found this forum. I look forward to reading old posts and learning from you all.

A bit about me.... I live in Austin TX (zone 8a/b) and have learned everything I know from one of Mel's books.... which is to say, I know about the concept of SFG and how to build pretty boxes and fill them with great Mel's mix, but I know virtually nothing about the plants. I am resolved to turning my black thumb green.

Organic food and healthy living are my passion (and my business), so it was a natural leap to start our own garden. We have 3 boys (ages 6, 4, and 1.5 years) who are very enthusiastic about it all and they're eating the few things that have come up already.

Thanks for reading.

glad you\'re here Margo. happy hi
Your sure have a reason to grow your own veggies, your three little boys, 6, 4 and 1 1/2 years old.
I am interested in hearing about your business as well as your progress in SFGing.

Hey Margo, welcome to the SFG Forum. For a good list of other general gardening books, you can find a link to a good thread about that at the bottom of my signature.
