Hi from Rødby Denmark
Hi All
I live in Rødby Denmark and spend many hours on my big passion gardening. I have three greenhouses and a pretty large kitchen garden where I grow mostly gourds, squash and pumpkins. I love getting my hands on a new type of these seemingly endless shapes and colours. I have now collected and dried gourds for a few years and REALLY need to pull myself together to be a little creative with them but.... That will have to wait yet again because it is now, after a long dark winter, Sowing time. My favourite and busiest time of year. So I'm off to soak my gourd seeds in some warm water for a few hours before sowing. Have a great weekend

Re: Hi from Rødby Denmark
Welcome to the site.
If you have had a peek around , you'll gather by now it is quite a novel method that we garden with .
Look in the home page drop down menu for the most common themes there is a lot of useful info in them especial the compost and vermiculite threads.
I've just replied to your carnation thread as it was the first one I saw.
In a few weeks time a totally new version of " All New Square Foot Gardening " book by Mel Bartholomew will be available from Amazon ( you can get it on pre order )
if you are looking to follow us in our craft , I offer that the book will be money well spent , if the second edition mentioned in my strap line is anything to go by .
Have fun with the ANSFG .. I look forward to reading your posts and seeing lots of your pictures.
