Laugh of the day
Okay, after about a year and half and a 100+ posts, I've finally discovered this is the "Official Forum" of SFG.
I mean, okay, I always looked at the header saying Official Forum and should my head at the moderators politely informing people this is an SFG forum, but yesterday, I finally figured out why.
Even though I've read Mel's book way back when, I never cruised through his website to any depth. Yesterday I was looking for a zucchini article on his website and went to try and find it in the forums on his site since I couldn't find it elsewhere.
I ended up here.
Thought something went wrong. Went back, did it again.
End up here.
LOL, since I originally found this forum through a search, I never realized the forum is actually from Mel's SFG Foundation site.

Re: Laugh of the day
Yes, this is the "Official" forum for SFG. We've tried pretty hard to make that apparent, but I guess it still gets missed. If you look in the green nav bar below the title you will see Website. That links directly to the foundation site. Mel's site is basically his blog and he can discuss things more freely, and express himself as he see's fit there. The foundation is basically the "business" end of things if you will, and yes, we are the forum. The foundation and I have really tried to work more closely together since about the beginning of the year to make things a bit more unified, and to keep each other more informed of what's going on in SFG land
We do try to be supportive of all, but yeah, our goal here is to support the current method as outlined in our Mission Statement which is also found on the home page.

When people read the book or stumble upon the method or the site, there are obviously lot's of questions. Our goal here is to get them on the right track and teach them the method as Mel describes in his book. There are loads of websites out there that use adulterated versions of the new method and lot's of misinformation given that aren't actually in the method. I guess our main purpose here is to cut down on some of that confusion.
Here's some more history:

I hope this helps shed some light on things for you NSR, and I'm actually pretty happy you got linked back to our forum several times! That's a good thing

Now that would be me! I try to get to the meat of the site (and sometimes posts) and don't notice the heading. I have commented on something from the body of the post and think I am so clever and then I realize later that the heading specifically said that, lol and duh!
