SUCCESS!!!
Thanks to the diligent efforts of a good friend, I now have a large bag of vermiculite! She brought it back from Guam for me last week. I now have the ability to get a steady supply and know that TSA will allow it to be checked without a problem!

Re: SUCCESS!!!
Sort of a funny vermiculite story....
Was explaining MM to my 43 year old son. Compost from 5 different sources, peat, and some stuff called vermiculite which is...
At this juncture, he stopped me and said, "I know what vermiculite is, Mom."
How do you know what it is, you've never had a garden, was my response.
"I once grew things in vermiculite, Mom."
OHhhhhhhh.........................................

Re: SUCCESS!!!
Good to know about TSA. I may try to take some to Philippines with me in the fall. I've been using it to cushion stuff in the care packages I've been sending.
