I found a basic reference for when to plant what on Mother Earth News. It's good for newbies or just to start to get your bearing. Just thought that I would share. Oh it breaks it down by area's but they are not the same as zone's so like I said a basic reference.

Here is a resource for kids (and adults, too) : Sproutrobot.com

It tells you what to plant each week. You might need to register or sign up (free).
