These wormies sure do eat ALOT for such tiny creatures...not even 1/4 inch. My pak choi are totally distroyed. Anyone know what they are and how I get rid of them?

You need BT.. Bacillus Thuringesis, better known as Dipel or Thuricide. Its a bacteria that sickens all chewing caterpillers. Won't harm humans, animals, or bees, just the caterpillers. You mix it up in a sprayer and can use it right up to harvest, its a must have !!

Thanks, Celeste. I have some DE. I guess that would probably work then also. Maybe I need to floating row covers, too, now that the weather has finally warmed up.

Do you think those are cabbage moth babies?

Cabbage moth caterpillars are green. These look like cabbage maggots to me. I have had them in the base of moist dense leafy cabbage before. Pac Choi is in the cabbage family. DE should work on them. I do not know if Bt would as they are not caterpillars. Are you having trouble with tunnels in your radishes or turnips? That is the same problem. For cole crop transplants you can put DE around the stem at planting. Floating row covers should help keep the fly that lays them away. Spinosad and Neem oil are supposed to work on them also but I have not done that myself.
