Getting Started

I've been wanting to get started in SFG for a couple of years now. I ordered 4 boxes today from this site. I live in the SE and prob should already have planted so I'm really anxious to get my stuff!! I wonder how long it'll take??
But I'm excited about getting started. I've seen so many beautiful pictures, I'm feeling a little intimidated. I will try to post pictures soon (if I can figure out how...that's what teenagers are for, right?)

Hi Cathy,

Welcome to the forum. The last time I talked to Alan from SFG.com, he said they were unexpectedly swamped with orders. I think that means-be patient. I know that's hard to do; there's been a shortage of patience around here because sfg'ers are getting itchy to get started.

I'm with you on teenagers. If it wasn't for them, all I would be able to do on my cell phone is talk!

In the meantime, you might read the posts in your region, to see what other gardeners in your area are doing. I believe you're in the Lower South region and TimWardell, the host, will do his best to answer your questions.
