I'm shocked we didn't get a picture.

So, I'm inclined to believe it never happened. Camp is one of our best gardeners. I thought everything grew perfectly in her SFG. Wink

It began as a few random little spots a few days ago but today there was more and I knew it was blight. GRRR...
I have heavily pruned and gotten soothing words from the county AG agent, aside from the spots on the foliage he was impressed with the vigor of the leaves saying that the good news is its late in the season and his confidence was high that I would have a suitable crop. He IDd it as early blight, better than late blight. I'm just thanking my lucky stars that I think I got ahead of it. Fingers crossed!
The foliage has begun to wilt, but you should be able to see the brown spots on the leaves and the stem of the Gilberties.

Pruned Gilberties, I left most of the canopy, time will tell if that has to come out too.

Also pruned the cherry style tomatoes. I didn't see evidence of blight on them, yet.

camprn, are you getting any ripe tomatoes yet?

I'm still picking those *^#$@! hornworms off my tomato plants. I've probably pulled 25 off 8 plants, even yesterday I found one. I'm thinking the big squash leaves right in front of the tomato plants makes for a great hiding place for moths to lay eggs. I'm not going to be able to plant my tomatoes in that box next year, for fear the eggs will survive the winter.
