So jealous. I tried to find purple potatoes without any luck. I haven't had them either. Let us now how they taste!

Don't eat too much purple food at once!
Well...I'm just saying...people who eat too many carrots turn orange. Seriously!

I'd say someone likes purple. Good crop. Keep up the good work.

Re: The color purple
I remember once being served purple potatoes. I was spanked for refusing to eat them. I was six years old at the time.
Maybe, just maybe, I might try them again one day.

Purple Carrot
Josh:
We picked a purple carrot today and put it in a salad. The outer skin was purple and the inner core was a dark orange.
God Bless, Ward and Mary.

This one's a very dark purple if the image is a good one from the World Carrot Museum

a truly amazing and gloriously quirky website.

Re: The color purple
Oh man, Josh, eating all that purple food will make you super healthy! I've been reading a lot about darker foods having antioxidants that their lighter counterparts don't. Gardening and purple foods...you might be the first SFGer to live FOREVER!!
