New Year 2017 - NEWS FLASH Jan 7 - A message from the Administrator
Here we are in a new year, and I want to share an update with you members. For a couple years or so, I have been trying to be your Administrator without any full-time Moderators. Well, I'm happy to announce that Camprn (Camp) has now completed her personal goals and is now available to help Moderate as before. And, as you know, Trolleydriver (TD) is our new Moderator and will be a great help.
With a full staff now, we will be doing more monitoring and housekeeping. The Forum was established in 2010 and has a wealth of information, in fact, a boat load of information!
Many of the new topics are redundant and need to be merged with existing topics. Sometimes, good info gets buried in an unrelated topic and needs to be moved to another topic or a new topic all together.
Some topics are verboten, forbidden, like politics and religion and hurtful language. Some topics have nothing to do with SFG or associated activities, by any stretch of the imagination. So, don't be surprised if some of these are deleted or edited in the coming days and weeks. We may also be sending PMs to members as a means to get back on track. Just trying to tidy up a bit.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them here, or in a private PM or email. And, we are off to a new year . . .

Woo-Hoo! Welcome back Camp. You've been missed...
Thank you to all three of you for the work that you do for us! I know it's not easy trying to "herd a bunch of cats" like us, lol...

Honestly, I love this site. And the people I have "met" here. You guys, who take responsibility for the ongoing management and handling of the whole thing are greatly under thanked, and much appreciated.
Glad to hear about the new plan, seriously, TD, Camp, and sanderson is a win-win-win!

I must admit I do not garden 100% by the book of Mel. He has been my inspiration to box garden and his old PBS tv show and first book was my guide to get started. I truly love this forum and constantly enjoy yall posts. I do on occasion post other back yard adventures I figure all square foot gardeners also have trees and such. But I try to post that stuff in the appropriate topic. If I mess up (only human after all) Let me know. In the mean time I am very grateful for this forum and yall tolerance of an ole Cajun Cappy!

I'm happy to announce that Rooster will be the Administrator starting immediately. Camprn and I will be Moderators.
I love this Forum and took the Admin position to keep it going. But, Rooster is the right person for the position, and, since I love the Forum, I am ecstatic he will be the Admin and steer it true and straight with competency. Thank you, Rooster!
I want to thank Trolleydriver for accepting the Mod position while Camprn was occupied fulfilling a personal goal. I truly needed his help and I appreciate that he stepped up to the plate. Thank you, TD!
Sincerely, Sanderson

Thank you Sanderson for being and taking such great care of the forum for the past two years. It's not an easy task and one that requires a lot of personal time and devotion...not much support either.
I appreciate all that you've done here! I look forward to 2017

It is good to have more people taking responsibility as it spreads the load and allows them to enjoy their job by not being overwhelmed.
Here's to a great 2017 for us all.

Can you tell me what the difference is? Moderator vs Administrator? Moderator monitors the content, administrator the actual workings of it? I just don't know! I am glad you guys do it though!
