I know we've just had the first day of summer, so I'm reeeeeeeeally thinking ahead. But I DO want to plan ahead for my first SFG fall crop! I"m in Atlanta (zone 7), and I believe the fall frost date is oct 15. ?

I"m a little confused by the charts in the back fo the book. Can I start lettuce outdoors? Or does it have to be indoors? And when? If our frost date is 10/15, that means starting it sometime in July, right?
