SO, about the only things left growing in the garden are the hardiest of the garden, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, kale, snap peas, a few beets red & gold, and garlic. Under the hoop I have onions, green leaf lettuce, mesculin mix and the breakfast radishes are coming along.

After I took out the last 3 potted cherry tomato plants I had a bit of space under the hoop this afternoon, SO I seeded a bit more salad greens and breakfast radish. Fingers crossed for their growth. .

By the way, the overnight temperature is forecast to be 18°F. Oh, I think it's time to order the heating oil. silly me

Good luck!!! 18, brrr..... It was down in the 20's here overnight, apparently (I didn't think it would get that cold!) and had to scrape my windshield this morning for the first time this fall.

I am going to try to plant some seed, too, I think. What the heck, it's only seed! Will try to post about it in my Nov 1 update (which is, of course, late!)

I planted some seeds in the cold frame from Lowe's that we assembled today Smile We'll see if anything comes of it...

My walking onions and garlic are doing fine... and there is SOMETHING else in the onion pot.... I don't know what it is, but don't think it's a weed. It's got a pair of very nice little veggie seed leaves on it.
