I won't be around much for a while Empty I won't be around much for a while

My mom (81 years old) had a carotid endarterectomy Tuesday, had a major bleed postop that night, had to be taken back to surgery & is still in ICU. She didn't have a stroke during any of this, but is still intubated & on the ventilator. I've been at the hospital most of the time since Tuesday morning, but came home to get a (hopefully) full night's sleep since she is pretty stable right now. I'm requesting your prayers for her.

Dixie, I am praying for strength, comfort and peace for you and your family. I know from experience how stressful and exhausting sitting in the hospital by the bedside of a loved one can be.
