Some failures

Ok, I've had a few failures...a few things also doing GREAT. Seems like all the warmer weather crops, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, spring onions, they love the weather we've had as well as the mix. I have failed miserably for some reason with radishes (they've been out there, in the ground, kinda growing greenery....it's a total failure. WEEKS and weeks they've been "growing" and it's a tiny, woody root on there. the spinach also a total failure. Got warm fast, and I don't think it likes the mix at all....at least not my off kilter blend of it. The sprouts have stayed seedling like for weeks and then bolted. A few leaves are starting to act like they'd try to produce, but in all honesty, it's not happening. SOooooo, I want to rip out the radishes, the spinach....I'm thinking my carrots will be the same as the radishes, but will wait them out.

My question is this: What should I plant there?? I have a CSA membership which every year provides much greens, cucumbers, zuchini, summer squashes, brussel sprouts, cabbages, beans, tomatoes....I tried to only plant what we DON'T get a ton of and love at our house. I have a great sugar snap pea crop going, all the peppers we could want...I was thinking maybe soybeans. Is it too late to do soybeans from seed out there??

I had the same problem with my salad veggies. Even the stuff that did grow didn't look good. What about some melons, eggplant, fun heirloom tomatoes, long beans, winter squash, hot chili peppers, anything funky you wouldn't see usually.
