Would this baseball net make a good trellis?
It only cost 20.00

I think the netting on that has elastic woven into it to make it bounce the baseball back to you. The trellis described in the SFG book is fairly cheap and easy to make.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. How tall is it? It may not be tall enough for some things, but plenty tall for others. If you have already bought it, go ahead and use it! worse comes to worst, you may need to re-string the netting if it is too stretchy, but it should be fine for things like beans and cucumbers, and maybe some heavier things too.

I would guess it would work, but it does not seem cost efficient. The 8" wide x 5' tall trellis I build probably cost the same.
