Chicken manure compost
Hi! Im new to the forum & new to gardening too. I hope someone can help me. I just bought this “CHICKEN MANURE COMPOST” (.75-.95-.30) will that be okay to use for mel’s mix? Would appreciate any help!

Yes, and no. Manures in general should be limited to no more than about 20% of the total mix, which means it can be used in limited amounts as one of the composts. Chicken manure, though, is very high in phosphates which will result in build-up of phosphorus in the soil, so its use should be limited as much as possible.
