A Song for Our Times
"In short, the soil food web feeds everything you eat and helps keep your favorite planet from getting too hot. Be nice to it." ~ Diane Miessler, "Grow Your Soil"
Re: A Song for our times
Man, that takes me back to 1974.
I was in Aspen, playing at the summer music festival, and was recording with someone in John's studio there. I don't recall who I was working with (too many gigs) but John came in to listen and said hello to everybody. When you work with a lot of musicians great and small you get a feel for what kind of person they are pretty fast. It's all in how they treat others.
John was warm, kind, and appreciative, and completely unaffected by his stardom at that time. A song like this simple melody would never even get on an album today. Simpler times.

Re: A Song for Our Times
Had to make a trip to A.M. Leonard to pick up some more CowPots, and stopped on the way home for some relaxing time at a small waterfall along the bike trail. In this time of lockdown, it was really relaxing to listen to the water rippling over the rocks. Made a video of it so I can listen to it during times of stress.
