New Zealand Spinach Recipes
New Zealand spinach can be used in place of regular spinach. What I like about NZ spinach is that is holds up during the summer without turning bitter, and can be a perennial in zones with mild winters. Hardy from 28*F to 110*F.

Here's a picture of NZ Spinach busy being a perennial. I should have put something in the photo for scale, but this particular patch is about 6 foot the long way. There are other patches around the yard. After sanderson's comments, I've been trying to encourage it more by old branches/seeds on any unused spot. I would really like it to displace the bermuda grass that the former owner's had planted:

Mark, I read that it can be used as a ground cover. Your 6' long patch is proof!!
