Hallo from Germany
Hi
I found this forum by planing my vegetable for 2017. IT's my 5th year with my SFG and it has grown to a big garden with about 728 squares. It feeds my family of 6 people more or less all year round and I plant over 40 different vegetables, fruits and herbs.

Re: Hallo from Germany
Hi Jolokina. Welcome from Atlanta, GA (SE US). Glad you're here!
I have to agree with TD. That's VERY impressive! Can't wait to see pictures! That sounds like my dream... So now I'm hoping to learn from you on how to take care of that many squares year-round. :-)

Jolokina. from Northern California. Can't wait to see pics of your garden. It sounds amazing.
Re: Hallo from Germany
jolokina welcome! How in the world do you make all the compost necessary for a garden that big? I'd love to see pictures! Of everything! I have 160 squares and making the compost for it is where most of the labor occurs in my case, not the garden.

Re: Hallo from Germany
Jolokina, Welcome to the Forum from central California, U.S. As you can tell, we all want to see photos. Don't worry if the garden is in winter rest or disrepair, we just want to see it!!
Re: Hallo from Germany
I have lived in Stuttgart (1998-2001) and Berlin (2007-2010) and Ich liebe Deutschland!
I have seen women looking at jewelry ads with a misty eye and one hand resting on the heart, and I only know what they're feeling because that's how I read the seed catalogs in January - Barbara Kingsolver - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle

Re: Hallo from Germany
Welcome, I'm putting my request in for pictures as well. Germany is beautiful. I spent 11 weeks there when the US Embassy was in Bonn.
