After tossing my zucchini out of my cold frame I planted sugar peas, their coming up nicely, however now I can't use my cold frame until their done. Maybe just build another cold frame.

Nice, Jimmy! How much time does the frame buy you? Are they sugar snaps? Or peas?

Sugar Peas..as far as time, when it gets to cold for the plants, it's to cold for me...

Keeping deer away is my biggest problem, we have 2 apple and 1 pear tree. We are on the edge of town with vast areas of wilderness behind us. Even though there are developments in that area, these deer roam all night and are very hungry...fencing is the only preventive.

I get it about the deer. I used to see the around here when I was a kid, but they have moved on out. A cold frame would be a super cool Christmas gift from my boys...lol!
