pickling cucumber worm
My pickling cucumber crop has been doing nicely and I have jarred a nice batch of refrigerator half sour pickles. However, today I unfortunately got introduced to the pickling cucumber worm and wonder if anyone out there has a suggestion for controlling this problem.

Always next year!
Thanks Camprn for the informative sight. I learned a lot and will start my crop earlier next summer and will know what to look for. I wonder if there is a more resistant seed to this pest than the one I used which is called National Pickling Cucumber produced by High Mowing organic seeds?

I love High Mowing seed. Drop them a line and ask them. They may have something else for you.

Thanks again. I appreciate your endorsement of the High Mowing seeds as this is the first time I had seen and used them. I will take your advice and drop them a line letting them know of my pickling cucumber experience this season and see if they have any comments. If so, I will pass it along.
