Mel welcomes New Forum Admin!
I am pleased to announce that after a very informative and get to know each other telephone conversation for almost 2 hours last night, that Sanderson from Fresno, CA will start a one month settling in period of continuing our direction of friendly and informative guiding others in learning the official SFG system of successful home gardening. One area of building will be increasing the number of regional hosts as well as continuing our advice and problem solving tradition.

Congrats Sanderson. When you get settled in I will need some help from you. Boffer tried to help but he said it had to be done by the Administrator and Rooster has not been around to get any help. So I will give you time to settle in before I hit you with my problem.

Re: Mel welcomes New Forum Admin!
Sanderson, you've become a dear friend through this forum. What a joy to see you stepping in to some very big shoes with such enthusiasm and energy! We all appreciate it more than words can say.
Re: Mel welcomes New Forum Admin!
I'm not sure about enthusiasm and energy. More like nervous trepidation!
Rooster is extremely talented as a techie and Forum administrator. I don't fool myself in equating my talent with his. But, I'm retired so it is something I thought I needed to step up to. It is a volunteer position as are Moderators and Regional Hosts. Speaking of Regional Hosts . . . . we have some vacancies.

Congrats to you Sanderson! You are without doubt an asset to the SFG community and will make an outstanding forums administrator. You fit the bill perfectly! I can't say that it will be a smooth ride, but you're in good hands here and have the support of many. I wish you the best in your new position!
