Anyone try growing Romano bush beans? Empty Anyone try growing Romano bush beans?

Post  Judy McConnell 7/28/2014, 12:48 pm

So I wanted to try another variety of bush beans in addition to Burpee's stringless Greenpod and tried Romano seeds, got one picking from each variety with the Greenpods continuing to bloom and set pods.

However, the Romano plants are just sitting there taking up space - no additional blooms.  Can't find any info on web that makes me think they are more sensitive to heat, etc.  The plants are healthy, but just stagnant.

Anyone have the same experience?  Or am I crossing my fingers incorrectly?
