What's your opinion?
I've grown sugar snap peas several times, but I don't remember them ever resembling snow peas before forming larger pods. The packet says Burpee Sugar Snap. I've checked twice, just to be sure I'm not having a senior moment, but I really think I got a mixed up packet this time. They all look like this. What's your opinion?

They'll fill out. You can eat them either way.

As it turns out, most of my pea plants were sugar snaps, but there were about 4 vines that were definitely snow peas. Somehow there was obviously some mixing at the packaging plant, because most of my daughter's ended up being snow peas instead of sugar snaps.

Re: What's your opinion?
I was eating my sugar snaps like snow peas at first. They were darker and not as sweet when young, and pretty much like snow peas in that way. I just wanted to eat some peas right away! I don't know how good snow peas are to eat when fully mature, but using snap peas for snow peas worked fine for me.
Weird that you got a mix-up.
