Does this forum have a board where people can post sources for various things they have located so that others will be able to find them more easily?  I should think that we should have a board for sources for MM ingredients where folks could post where and what they found.  For example, I might post that I found baled peat moss at Lowe's in my town or that I found sheep manure at such and such place, etc.

The board need not be limited to MM (tho I would suggest a sticky just for that purpose) and might be expanded to other things such as tools, plants, etc.

Did I miss it?

On the main page the 6th and 7th items down the list are vermiculite (with a workable database) and the compost discussion ares, where folks have give their ideas about sources within various threads.

Here is the data base entry form if you have a local source you would like to add to the list.

+1

I will add that deals on locally purchased items (at brick and mortar stores) are usually posted in the appropriate regional forum.

Even national chains like Lowes and Home Depot don't stock the same merchandise in every region.

The Lowes store in Wilmington NC carries black kow products, the Lowes store in Elizabeth City NC does not.  That's only a 4 1/2 hour drive difference.
