ants in the compost pile
Hi, I have my first compost pile in the works and it seems to be progressing nicely. I started it in January and filled the bin so I have been just turning it since then and adding water when it looks dry. I have noticed recently that it is just crawling with ants everywhere. I am wondering if this is normal or is it going to be a problem? If it is still full of ants when it is complete and I want to use the compost will the ants be harmful or maybe beneficial to the plants?
