Ick, Camp. What the heck did they do to it??? Poor thing. It reminds me of those blue Icees that they used to make...and still may. They didn't taste good.

It's a new blue water melon. I heard about it today at the grain store when I stopped after work to buy sugar ann pea seeds and some lobstah compost.

I saw Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company (rareseeds.com) post on Facebook a picture of a purplish-blue-fleshed watermelon called "Blueberry Watermelon". They claim it tastes just like "Blue Raspberry" artificial flavoring and is resistant to Round Up

That is a beautiful blue! I don't know if my brain would allow me to eat it (I had trouble with the purple and green ketchup last year lol).
