Are my seeds going to grow? When should I plant something else?
I looked on a calendar of what I could grow any given month to choose my crop.
I Chose:
Tomato
Eggplant
Peppers
Cucumber
but I also planted some seeds:
Onions
Carrots
Bush Beens.
Its been almost 2 weeks and my seeds haven't grown. I'm keeping the seeded areas pretty moist, but not over doing it.
At what point should I abort and just plant something else?

Hang in there. You should see the bush beans about any day now. The onions and carrots will be a while longer with the carrots taking the longest.

How cool is it at night there? I know we have had some pretty warm days. The transplants might need some protection at night.
Carrots are notorious for taking a long time to germinate and sometimes a are kind of a hit or miss. Sometimes they come up great and sometimes not at all. Hard to figure out.
Onions from seed also take a long time. For mine I buy the bunches of little bare root plants.
Did you soak your beans before planting? That usually helps speed up germination but they should be coming up soon.

No, I didn't soak the beans. The transplants are doing well, thank goodness. I didn't know I could buy onions any other way than seed. I'll give them a couple more weeks.
