Top picture is of pots strung on heavy wire through their drainage hole with a hook at the top and a bend at the bottom. Bottow picture, six foot re-bar pounded a foot and a half into ground with pots threaded on through drainage hole. I saw another version where the bottom pot was really big and filled with concrete and rebar. I thought this was so cool I just had to share it. Especially for people with limited space, how cool would this be for an herb garden or flowers, and it just looks neat. No copyright infringement intended.

In the fall I've see shorter re-bar with pumpkins that were put on in the same tipsy fashion -- big pumpkins on bottom getting smaller to the top. Very cute!

I saw at a local garden center (Natorps in Mason, ohio), they actually sell the kits for this. But it was around $20 for the support and didnt' include the pots.

Wow! I really like this and have lots a good stout wire. Might try something like it with all the plastic pots I have left over from the shrubs I planted a couple of weeks ago. Thank you for sharing this.

What a fantastic idea! It looks so whimsical and magical, like a spell has been cast on your plants.

I may do this if I have any conduit left over from my trellis building.
