Something weird happened to my pepper plants.
I have four pepper plants growing well. They have all started to sprout buds. However, today, the buds (not even blossoms yet...about a millimeter across) on two of the plants all fell off. They were yellowish at the point they attach to the parent plant.
I'm guessing that it's "blossom drop," because I gave them some fertilizer a few days ago. It's the only thing that has changed. Does this track?

It could also be caused by high temp (90+) and low night temp (below 60). Frusterating but they will be back!

Nope. It may get a bit above 90 during the day, but if it dropped below 75 at night, it'd be the end of the world here. That's the upside to living in the tropics.
I'm pretty convinced it's the fertilizer, but thanks for the input.

High night temps can also do it.

I believe if they get too much water on them the buds will fall, AND if they are not pollinated.

The fertilizing may have caused the blossom drop. If you can get it, sprinkle a small handful of epsom salts around the root base. you may want to hold off the fertilizer until the plant is showing symptoms of needing feeding and certainly until after you have fruit set. Peppers are self pollinating.

Too hot...too cold...too much water...not enough water. Haha.
Thanks guys. Living where I do, I can only really influence the fertilizer, so I'll just decide that's the problem.
