Tabletop Strawberry Question/pics
Strawberry starts planted early April in a tabletop.
They looked so fragile at first. Turns out I was worried for nothing. 1-What do I do with all the plants with double crowns? I'm afraid of separating roots...but should I try anyway?
2-Would there be a specific time that might be safer to disturb the roots if I have to? It's getting pretty crowded in there.

Re: Tabletop Strawberry Question/pics
The double crown ones are a mystery. I had 3 beds that looked like that after they bloomed. When you dig them, gently try to separate. If they come apart fine, if they won't come apart, no big deal, won't bloom again til spring. If they won't come apart easily, I just count them as 1 plant together when setting in new location.
I moved mine early last fall, put the scoop of compost per square, then this spring, early, before blooms, I put another scoop of compost per square. They did great this year!
