Finally getting around to introducing myself here. I read SFG several years ago. It was the first gardening book I've ever read, and it was great for helping me get started.

Damon to the forum. I am just across the river from 'Bama so pert neer neighbors. I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do. There are a bunch of free garden 'helpers' around here, enjoy and share your adventures.
