Amending the garden soil: Milky Spore
If it says hazardous to humans how can it go in a vegetable garden safely? New to this...expert said my organic soil has grubs.

Re: Amending the garden soil: Milky Spore
Milky spore is only effective on Japanese Beetle larvae and June bugs. I did not know it was hazardous to humans, only ever used it on my lawns.
Go with Beneficial nemetodes which are non hazardous to pets humans and your veggies. They will get the grubs and anything else bad in there .

Thanks for the link! Milky Spore Container Statements may be over the top!
Thanks for the article link on coping with grubs. It does clearly state that milky spore is non hazardous to humans in the vegetable garden; so maybe the warning Hazardous to Humans on the back of the container:
Caution: avoid inhalation of powder or contact with eyes or open wounds is more an issue of direct contact/uncomfortable side effects verses danger through absorption via eating. I think if this is the case then the bold Hazardous to Humans on the container is a bit overstating the case...

See last two paragraphs. Certainly one should wear a mask when applying!
